Corrections Policy
We correct errors promptly, transparently, and on the record.
Last updated August 2026
Accuracy is the foundation of our work. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and tell readers what changed.
How we correct
- Corrections address factual errors. The article is updated and carries a note describing what was changed and when.
- Clarifications address language that was accurate but open to misinterpretation.
- Updates add materially new information to a developing story, with a timestamp.
Requesting a correction
If you believe we have published an error, tell us. Include the article title, the specific claim in question, and any supporting source. Reach us through our contact page. We review every request and respond to substantiated ones.
Transparency
We do not silently delete or rewrite published reporting to erase mistakes. Significant corrections remain visible on the corrected article so the record is clear.
